자폐아들과 시간을 보내는 봉사활동에서 만난 분이 전문적으로 장애인을 돕고자 시작한 공부가 있었습니다.

공부 과정은 물론 어렵지만 일과 봉사, 두가지를 삶의 목표로 삼는 분들에게는 추천할만한 프로그램이라고 생각됩니다.

Developmental services workers (DSWs) support individuals who have intellectual disabilities in their homes, at work and school, and in leisure roles in the community. DSWs are called upon to help to build natural community supports, networks and valued social roles for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
